Running & Open-Ear Audio FAQ

Bone conduction or awareness mode for running?
This model uses bone conduction through the cheekbones and leaves the ears open. Its listed features do not include an electronic awareness or transparency mode, so this is an open-ear design choice, not a verified comparison of mode performance.

What does open-ear mean for situational awareness?
The headphones sit outside the ears rather than blocking them. An open-ear design is not a guarantee of hearing every surrounding sound or of safe running.

How does this model fit?
It has a lightweight, secure sport fit designed to stay in place during high-intensity activity.

Where does this format fit?
This Bluetooth sport model is listed for running, cycling, hiking, and commuting. Choose it for those listed land-based activities; this record does not establish swimming suitability or an underwater listening mode.
